"We are Called"
"God's jealousy is linked to his love."
Gracious Father, sometimes we act like we are more deserving than other people, and when things don’t go our way, we end up being very jealous. Other times we become obsessed with thoughts of wanting to become like other people, and this leaves us insecure. Forgive us, dear Lord, and help us to become a better people. Let the blood of your son Jesus cleanse us from the effects of jealousy and may you fill us with peace, love and joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
We pray for Faith and Guidance, we pray for forgiveness of sins, we also pray for strength and courage in difficult times. Lord in your mercy…hear our prayer.
We pray for patience and understanding; we pray for wisdom and direction in our lives; we pray for guidance in decision making. Lord in your mercy…hear our prayer.
God, we pray for financial stability, for business growth, we also pray for success and prosperity in business. Lord in your mercy…hear our prayer.
We pray for healing of a friend, a sick mom for a surgery to go well for someone with cancer and for back pain relief. Lord in your mercy…hear our prayer.
These things we pray through your Son who taught us to pray.
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give
us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us
not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever and ever.
Amen.
Dear friends, feel free to pray for a different area each day. Thanks for praying with us.

Gracious and Giving God,
in this time of pandemic and distancing
continue to use us and guide us
to care for your people.
All that we have,
all that we are,
and all that we give are because you have first loved us.
Bless all the work of our hands,
the investments of our time,
and the fruits of our labors,
so that we may embody and extend
your grace, love, and mission to all our neighbors.
In the name of Jesus Christ we offer ourselves and we lift up this prayer.
Amen.
